The Petroleum Reservoir and Economics Group of Fugro Robertson are pleased to announce the running of its popular course ‘Petroleum Economics Integrated with Decision and Uncertainty Analysis’. This course is being carried out in collaboration with Decision Frameworks, a Houston-based decision analysis and risk consultancy.

The course will take place from 18-22 June 2012.

This course is unique in that it fills a gap in the current training market by integrating petroleum economics with decision analysis and risking techniques into one 5-day course. In our experience running economics training courses for 15 years, it is a subject that has generated much interest: the question of how to handle uncertainty and risk correctly in an economics arena.

The course starts with the fundamentals of petroleum economics and fiscal modelling before moving on to integration of uncertainty and risk. It’s mixture of theory and practical workshop sessions should prove stimulating.
