Devon, EOG, and Chesapeake have offices in Hemphill, Texas (Sabine County) There are other smaller companies there as well. I havnt heard of Petrohawk there yet. This county has such a vast opportunity for multiple pay zones from the Austin Chalk to the Smackover. San Augustine County is very active as to leasing as well. This is 2 of the counties that are very active as to all of the mentioned formations that have great opportunities.
