The hottest acreage in Shelby County, Texas is in and around Shelbyville, Texas. This is prime acreage for the Haynesville Shale, Bossier Shale and James Lime. 17-18 BCF potential/well from all 3 zones combined. WOW! What a number for East Texas gas wells. Where is ExxonMobile, BP and the other majors. This acreage area is the best of Texas for sure as to this play. EOG is drilling now in Shelbyville,Texas townsite that probably will make a huge well. Whoever owns leases here are in a very good position to prosper from all of these pay zones that are present. The cat is out of the bag as to the extra Bossier Shale potential.
