Position Description : Well Integrity Engineer Onhore but some offshore will be required
The Well Integrity Engineer’s role is to provide assurance and support to the North Sea The Well Integrity Engineer is accountable for:
·Maintaining and developing well integrity standards (including xmas trees, wellheads, annuli and DHSVs) that fully meet the requirements of Policy and ensuring compliance with these standards.
· Coordination of subsea general visual inspection surveys.
· Routine review and maintenance of summary records for all wells to ensure integrity standards are being maintained and documented appropriately
· Assessment of any gaps in Well Integrity provision and recommendation for mitigation.
· Proactive operational support to address well integrity issues.
· Investigating well integrity anomalies.
· Preparation of reports summarising integrity status and recommendations on any actions required.
· Application and development of technology and best practices in Well Integrity Management.
· Development and provision of personnel training and development to ensure acceptable standards of competency across North Sea operations on Well Integrity.
· Support Well Services and wider organisation as required – including operational work and support for subsea valves testing.
· May be required to participate in the out of hours duty rota.
Personal Specification
Candidates will be expected to be able to demonstrate the following as a minimum:-
- Previous knowledge of and experience in a similar post.
- Knowledge and experience of subsea wells
- Knowledge of applying company standards to interventions and integrity.
- Knowledge of the legislative requirements in the UK or Norway for well design and operation.
- Track record of delivery within the wells environment.
- Ability to work in a multi skilled field support team.
- Methodical approach to tracking well integrity and anomalies
