Job Description
Following a number of recent successes our client is looking to consolidate their position as a major player in the area of sewage sludge treatment and recycling by expanding their current team.
You would have an opportunity to play a key role in that team, working on a variety of large and medium sized projects for a range of water industry clients. You will have responsibilities in delivering and managing input to specialist and multi-discipline engineering projects.
Experience in the water treatment industry with many of those spent in the design and/or operation of treatment systems for municipal sewage sludge, its recycling and its disposal. You must have an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of sludge treatment processes, of recycling regulations and current influences on sludge operations and strategies. A thorough knowledge and understanding of sludge recycling routes would be advantageous. The successful candidate would also be expected to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of Carbon Management principles. You must have good interpersonal skills, and show the potential to manage project teams as well as contributing to the development of business in this area. You must be able demonstrate a good team approach and have the maturity to be able to contribute towards the transfer of knowledge and the technical development of others.
Qualifications
BSc/BEng/MEng Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Valid UK driving licence required.
