A Senior Mechanical Engineer is required to join an engineering, design and fabrication company providing equipment and services for the oil and gas industry, mainly focusing on subsea related activities. This includes piping modules, protection structures, pig launchers, multibore connections in FPSO turret, umbilical, spider and gimbal for marine drilling riser.
The company is planning a rapid growth in order to meet the increased demands and challenges of the subsea oil and gas industry and is looking for motivated, talented and self-driven people to be at the core of that growth and success.
Job Description
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for conceptual and detailed design of mechanical equipment using a 3D CAD system. The work will range from preparation of GA and concept drawing through production of detailed fabrication drawing, follow-up of fabrication and testing to documentation and delivery.
Education and Experience
Applicants must be educated to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and have a good level of experience in mechanical 3D design work within the subsea industry.
Salary and Rewards
As well as receiving a salary of 700,000 Kroner, the successful applicant will be joining a friendly and dynamic company and will be included in a profit share bonus scheme.
