A Senior Electrical Engineer is required to join an active oil and gas production company in their Copenhagen head office. The organisation operates a diversified fleet of modern drilling rigs and mobile production units engaged all over the world. Job Description
Working as part of the engineering department, the Senior Electrical Engineer will be concerned with new building projects and operational support. This will involve designing and working with the following functions-
• Power system, high and low voltage
• Protection systems
• Short circuit calculation
• Discrimination study
• Lighting systems
• Rotating machinery
• Generators
• Motors
• Switchboards
• Frequency drives
• Cable systems
• Explosion protected equipment

Depending on the actual tasks it could be necessary to visit the building yards, world-wide suppliers and offshore units.

Education and Experience

Applicants must hold a minimum BSc degree from a recognised university and have extensive experience in the areas listed above. They must be knowledgeable in the international standards of electrical engineering and be willing to travel.
