International, Publicly Listed Oil and Gas Company (E&P and pipeline operations) seeks Safety Manager, HSE.


Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

Support ongoing development and implementation of a corporate Safety Management System (SMS).

Identify and manage Health, Safety and Environmental risks.

Establish processes for ensuring and continuously improving HSE compliance.

Manage day to day safety challenges with suppliers, employees and other stakeholders.

Maintain company HSE statistics and key performance indicators and provide management briefings on meaning and actions forward.

Investigate and manage HSE incidents, determine root cause(s), communicate learning throughout the organization.

Establish and chair regularly scheduled HSE meetings/committees.

Perform routine site inspections with supervisors and other operational leaders for the purpose of compliance, hazard mapping, and communicating improvements.

Represent Company in relevant professional associations (e.g., IOGA) and continuously seek best practices in the oil and gas industry.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years prior work experience.

Strong knowledge of HSE arena.

Ability to lead, communicate and plan effectively.

Degree preferred.
