Are you looking for a new opportunity with an exciting Oil and Gas company in Denver Colorado? We have a long term contract position for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist that is calling your name.

Our client is looking for someone with prior experience in Permitting, Compliance and Closure requirements. Your main focus will be working with all applicable Regulatory Agencies within Colorado and Wyoming.

Specific duties/responsibilities of the Regulatory Compliance Specialist include:

Air Emission Regulations
• Permit new facilities to comply with air emission regulations.
• Ensure compliance with existing air permits.
• Ensure all required annual/periodic emission reporting (EPA, Greenhouse Gases) are completed.

Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC)
• Ensure plans are current and develop SPCC Plans where needed.
• Ensure compliance with required inspections and other SPCC obligations.

Stormwater Management
• Obtain SWMP permits where needed.
• Ensure required inspections are completed and documented.
• Close SWMP permits where applicable.

Chemicals
• Ensure SARA Title III reports are completed as required.
• Develop COGCC Chemical Inventory process and monitor for compliance.

Other City and County Oil/Gas Regulatory Requirements
• Be familiar with City and/or County regulations that may affect oil/gas development and ensure compliance with such (Watershed, Roads, Building, Special Use and other permits)

Other State Oil/Gas Regulatory Requirements
• Be familiar with State Oil & Gas Regulations in Colorado and Wyoming and ensure compliance with such.
• Assist with preparation of State Oil & Gas Commission Drilling Permit forms.
• Comply with State Oil & Gas Commissions reporting requirements (Sundry Notices, Completion Reports, Pit Permits, etc.).
• Take lead on COGCC Consultations with Division of Wildlife and/or Department of Public Health, as required for new well permitting.

Other Federal Oil/Gas Regulatory Requirements
• Take lead with Federal agencies (BLM, USFS) where applicable in complying with NEPA requirements.
• Understand and provide recommendations where Wetlands issues are relevant.

Well Permitting
• Gather information and submit well permits in Colorado and Wyoming
