Package: An attractive Base of $100K - $150K (USD) dependent on skills and experience, plus benefits and company bonus scheme. A full expatriate package is available where applicable (i.e. housing, schooling etc). There may be some flexibility on base for a high calibre candidate.
Job Overview: Working for a leading international petroleum consulting and technology company you will drive business and manage the service delivery for all information management services in the Eurasia Pacific region. You will have P&L responsibility for a $10 million (USD) service driven business. The Company’s Information Management solutions, spans exploration, production and drilling at both strategic and operational levels and includes a) data storage/management and distribution, b) application hosting, c) infrastructure delivery and d) data workflow analysis and delivery. With a strong understanding of the information management challenges facing the oil industry and the understanding and vision to promote solutions, your responsibility will be to increase market share in the region by driving new business opportunities and by strengthening the Company’s existing reputation for excellent delivery of digital information services…supported by service delivery managers, sales account managers and an experienced team of 60 technical consultants…based in Kuala Lumpur…significant travel (circa 50%) within Asia Pacific and Australia and some to Russia, and throughout CIS…a challenging and exciting role, for an entrepreneurial individual…significant career progression across the group. Candidate preferences: Proven sales and business development experience. Min 10 years background in some aspect of Data/Information Management within the Exploration and Production sector. Highly articulate on the subject of data/information management. Confident to present and sell the solution at senior level management.
