Requirements of Role:
The company is looking for a skilled and experienced person who can provide petrophysical support in both a core team environment and on an ad hoc basis, Also the ability to achieve the role of a petrophysical focal point within SEA and to mentor and transfer knowledge with other members of the teams.

Key elements of the role:
- Support SS Manager / Team Leader in all aspects of the Petrophysical consultancy business
-Focal point for all petrophysical projects: including log and core analysis;
-Technical and commercial preparation / evaluation of tendering process for all petrophysical activities;
-Data handling and verification – knowledge of data formats, making data fit for purpose
-Highly competent professional within functional discipline, with broad understanding of activities related to other disciplines Familiar ---with operations and wellsites – Limits and value of data
-Understanding of all types of wireline, cased-hole, pressure and LWD data – Limitations, strengths, differences
-Advanced formation evaluation techniques – probabilistic interpretation
-Principals and practices of reservoir correlation – Zonation, Sequence stratigraphy
-Log corrections and QC
-Ability to work with specialist data – Geochemistry Biostratigraphy, Sedimentology
-Data Room analysis

Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate for this role should have a good degree in geology or an associated science, combined with a plethora of industry standard petrophysical experience. They should have the ability to assess problems and provide solutions in a timely manner. A key part of this role encapsulates team work and the successful person should have the ability to work as part of a team in a varied environment. The ideal candidate for the role should also have in-depth knowledge of reward evaluation and problem solving and have expertise in planning/implementing, wirleine and LWD logging programmes.Apart from the key technical skills attributed to this role, the successful person must be able to demonstrate good personal qualities. Such as the ability to multi task several projects and have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
