Our client is seeking to appoint a high calibre and entrepreneurial Manufacturing Plant Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and the primary aim of this position will be to launch the production of a new plant, achieving optimal cost control through the sharing of group best practices, and the building and leadership of the site team and the site's processes. The Manufacturing Plant Manager will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, production planning, despatch operations, compliance with all regulatory and company policies, and reduce waste.
You will need a successful track record of leadership at strategic level within an Oil and Gas manufacturing plant with a particular emphasis on steel work fabrication, hydraulics, electrics, mechanical machinery and rotating equipments, preferably in the Middle East. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or related business qualification. You must have a minimum of 10 years practical experience in an Oil and Gas related manufacturing plant and must have a passion for customer satisfaction and computer literate, experience of Microsoft Project and ability to work with CAD/CAM.
