This is an independent Oil and Gas company that is currently looking for an Intermediate Geologist in line with their current recruitment drive. This company has a variety of different assets, with there being a strong focus on North and West Africa, the Baltic Region and the North Sea. The Role
This exciting role will allow you to be quite multidisciplinary in your work, allowing you to experience a wide range of different technical areas. You will have the great opportunity to broaden your skills and to truly develop into a technical expert. Working in a relatively small team, you will also have the advantage of being in very close proximity to more senior and experience people, from which you can learn, as well as being able to get stuck into everything that is going on.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Seismic Interpretation
• Regional Play Fairways
• Prospect Evaluation
• Depth Conversion
Education and Experience
Those who will be considered suitable will be educated to MSc level in Petroleum Geoscience or a related discipline, and will have a demonstrable knowledge of their chosen sector. Ideal candidates will be familiar with working on international operations, and will be keen to develop their knowledge and experience further. Applicants who are looking to challenge themselves, and work in a diverse environment will be suitable for this position. Successful candidates will also be competent in using the standard industry software, such as Petrel and Kingdom Suite.
