Having established a presence in the UK during 2006, Kongsberg Intellifield is looking to expand to meet the requirements of Customer projects. Kongsberg Intellifield is looking for service and support Engineers to travel the world to set up and commission our real-time systems and applications. As one of our team of Field Engineers, you will work closely with our software development team, partners and customers. You will become an integral member of the Kongsberg Intellifield team and participate in new product development.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following experience and core competencies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in IT, Networks, Telecommunication or equivalent qualifications.
• Proven Windows system administration experience and very good knowledge of network communication solutions. Windows Certification would be an asset.
• Offshore safety certificates would be beneficial, however this Certification can also be taken upon employment.
• Knowledge of the work processes related to drilling and well construction is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Good knowledge/experience with hardware and software is a must.
• Experience with Testing/Support.
