Well established international E&P player seeks a highly respected and influential Exploration Manager to make a substantial contribution managing and growing their broad European portfolio.

THE POSITION

• High profile appointment covering broad span of Exploration issues across the European and Mediterranean region. Significantly influence the future direction, investment and continued growth of this successful Operator.

• Manage technical input on all Geoscience related matters across the asset portfolio covering production, reservoir, economics, and project management issues. Plan development and exploration drilling programmes. Manage risk and assets to increase reserves and production levels.

• Identify and implement BD investment opportunities. Key technical interface representing the company and strongly influencing JV Partners, Governments and Stakeholders. Award, manage and QC the work of key Geoscience contractors and technical support staff.

THE CANDIDATE

• Degree in Geology or Geophysics. Masters in Petroleum Geoscience a distinct advantage. Good knowledge of UKCS with complimentary broader international experience gained with an E&P Operator over a significant period of time.

• Skilled in all phases of O&G prospecting, your knowledge will cover seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation. Capable of questioning and challenging assumptions, you will seek to make a significant impact directly influencing strategic growth.

• Capable of forming long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with partners, you will possess strong technical writing skills and will be highly credible presenting and influencing to senior management. With a high team ethic, you will have prior leadership experience managing multi-functional technical staff and contractors.
