A midsize international oil and gas production company is expending it’s activities abroad and in the North Sea and thus is looking for an Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer to handle projects within design of instrumentation as well as safety and process control systems for offshore oil and gas processing fields.

Innovative application of advanced seismic processing techniques as part of a comprehensive state-of-the-art reservoir characterization, combined with ultra long horizontal drilling as well as the completion and stimulation technology of the horizontal wells have been the key to the company’s technical success in developing these fields.

Job Description
Working as part of the Projects Department, the Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for the managing, reviewing and coordinating electrical and instrument design as well as the specification, procurement and participation in testing of E&I equipment. They will also act as technical back-up, providing trouble-shooting service within their own profession. Furthermore, the position requires participation in purchasing, equipment testing and preparation of installation and test procedures. Travelling and short visits to offshore platforms must be expected.

Education and Experience
Applicants must have a solid engineering or similar technical background within electricity or instrumentation, preferably a degree or equal qualification. They must have relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry and a knowledge of computer based security systems. They also must be able to communicate well orally and in writing in both Danish and English.
