Firstdrill is looking for Russian and English speaking Drilling Engineers, to become staff members for an overseas operation in India. Successful candidates also need to have at least one year’s offshore experience.
As key members of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the operational efficiency to engineer, plan and cost all drilling activities. Managing, motivating and developing by working within the Firstdrill team, you will improve productivity whilst improving overall performance.
Key Qualities:
• Experienced and proactive with a minimum of 7 years experience in the field.
• Degree in Engineering, science or extensive experience and training with a major oil company.
• Perform well designs and drilling programs and assist in the execution of the agreed programs.
• Advise in the planning and safe execution of the well construction activities.
• Provide engineering support to the drilling operations and ensure the delivery of well objectives is compliant with relevant policies and regulations.
• Support the Project Manager in obtaining technical and budgetary approval from all partners as well as presenting selected concepts to them.
• Recommend best development concept for present and future wells as well as best rig concept.
• Effective communicator/influencer at all levels and strong negotiation skills.
