Our client is seeking to recruit a Deepwater Senior Drilling Supervisor

Job Description:
To lead the overall Well Site safety, worksite control and well plan execution of offshore drilling operations following the drilling, completion and well test programmes. Operations to be in accordance with drilling policy and regulatory/environmental compliance.
The offshore operations consist of 5 wells in deepwater Mediterranean sea with operations commencing in mid 2010. The position will report to the Offshore Wells Team Leader.

The role will involve:
Day to day management of the D&C Operations and direction of activities
Driving Safety Leadership
Operations follow Operations Management System (OMS) and D&C policy
Integrated work planning into Operations, following D&C work programmes and objectives
Manage contractor and service company performance at the Well Site
Manage logistics activity; materials and personnel
Collaborative problem resolution
Activity and daily operational reporting
Well cost reporting and tracking
Ensuring contractor utilisation of contractor’s Safety Management System
Coach , develop and mentor D&C Well Site personnel
Lead or participate in well planning, pre-spud meetings and wash up meetings to ensure performance delivery, lessons learnt and provide Continuous Improvement for Operations

Job Requirements:
Solid Drilling & Completion Supervisor background,
Offshore, Deepwater, Remote operations experience
Excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Subsea IWCF well control, UKOOA Medical, Fire fighting & Survival
Fluent in English (Arabic a plus)
