Completions Engineer – Two Openings (Colorado & Montana)

We are assisting clients with searches for outstanding Completions Engineers. These are exciting career opportunities with established and respected oil & gas firms, one within the state of Colorado and the other within the state of Montana.

RESPONSIBILITIES of this position include, but are not limited to the following;
- New well completion design for both vertical and/or horizontal oil and gas wells
- Conducting evaluations and implementations of new completion technologies, well performance evaluation, remedial and recompletion recommendations on existing producing wells, and coordination of well work with onsite supervisors.
- Significant interaction with reservoir engineering, geology, land, regulatory, marketing and administration departments, as well as State and Federal regulatory agencies.

REQUIREMENTS for this position include, but are not limited to the following;
- Bachelor Science in Engineering, with a Petroleum Engineering degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in oil and gas well completion operations. At least one year of onsite field experience is strongly preferred.
- Rocky Mountain experience for the CO opportunity and Bakken Shale experience for the MT is strongly preferred.
- Heavy fracing experience.
- Strong organizational, computer, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, in order to exceed the expectations an efficient, fast paced operational environment
