This is an extremely interesting and challenging role for a Finance professional with extensive experience of acquisitions in the Oil and Gas sector. Working for a dynamic and rapidly expanding organisation, you will work alongside the Commercial teams driving forward a number of acquisitions. You will need to be a qualified accountant who is comfortable analysing the detail of complex Sales and Purchase Agreements and have experience of acquiring Upstream Assets. You will also have experience of predicting the practical impact of potential acquisitions and will be able to ensure that when an asset is acquired, it is accounted for in the most appropriate, tax efficient way. Most of the acquisitions will be in West Africa and an appreciation of accounting for African businesses, as well as French language skills, would be extremely advantageous.
