Our client is an important protagonist in the fabrication of drilling and production platforms, as well as other specialized structures in the oil and gas industry. As part of its strong growth our client is seeking its Business Development Manager.
Abuja (Nigeria) - CDI - (M/F)
Reporting to the General Manager, the business Development Manager will:
- Actively develop new business opportunities and preserve existing client portfolio,
- Generate new commercial opportunities, visit prospects and client regularly to understand their expectations and needs and to propose personalized solutions.
- Recommend competitor’s analysis for the Executive Direction
- Prepare operation budgets, define action plans and supervise the execution
- Undertake a strategic market review into the oil and gas sector including appraisal of clients, services, regions and identification of opportunities for profitable growth.
- Propose full range of design, construction and maintenance services to the client
- Promote full services in the fabrication of offshore and inshore platforms
- Liaise with the Marketing and Communications support group to develop awareness and profile raising of the company within the sector (exhibitions, publications, ...)
Profile
Prospective candidates will ideally have a technical engineer diploma
Experience with Offshore and/or Onshore, multi-site projects, turn-key assignments preferred
Minimum 10 years experience in the industry sector, including business development position. Ability to manage commercial developments and commercial teams.
Skills in finance, sales and negotiation
Taking into account the local context, a personal or professional experience in an emerging country will be useful for a rapid integration.
