Quarter (25%) share of the oil and mineral rights at Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Columbia, NC. The land was tested positive for oil and natural gas by Exxon. There was intially a large offer by Exxon, but the deal never went through. These rights have been retained since acquisition, and the federal government owns some of the rights today. Some may see that as an opportunity in itself.
