Can anyone help a newbie please?
A sick friend has asked me to help sell his oil wells. I know nothing about oil wells, leases, barrels or gas reserves so I'm doing my dumb blond bit here!
There are 122 wells, some are producing. Some are capped. Genuine reason as to why some are capped. There is also gas running through the land.
There is a good engineers report. The guy has a really impressive bio. A lot of the report reads gobbledegook to me, but I get the general gist. That being:
The quality of the oil is of good grade. The evaluation is good. That 'these are proved producing leases and still contain substantial reserves.' Lots of other good stuff in the report for all you smart oil people.
And it would be good if someone could direct me to the right bodies so I can help find a buyer and sell the land. He wants to sell it 'as is.'
