Aventa Systems Limited, a leading information technology consultancy in the oil and gas industry, has targeted a 150% rise in staff over the next 12 months following a move to larger offices.
Formed in 2007 and formerly known as Whitserv, Aventa specialises in integrated production data systems for leading operators including Talisman Energy (UK) Limited and Hess.
Aventa plans to increase staffing levels from 6 to 15 during the year in response to the growing demand for its innovative solutions.
The company has expanded into an office more than three times the size of its previous premises, moving from Balgownie’s Technology Park in Bridge of Don to a 1,400 sq ft office at Migvie House in the centre of Aberdeen.
Aventa provides systems that allow operators to analyse production data more effectively, enabling better business decisions to be made over the life of their assets.

“We expect another year of growth, particularly over the next six months where we plan to add to the experienced and talented team we’ve built up at Aventa in the last year.

“We’ve set high standards and, with the prospect of securing further contracts, we must now look to push on to develop the company.
