New VP for BOS Operations

Bergen Oilfield Services (BOS) has employed a new Vice President of Operations ahead of the launch of their two vessels BOS Arctic and BOS Atlantic.

Tor Søreide Sivertsen will manage a team of highly professional personnel working onboard our two seismic vessels: BOS Arctic (3D) and BOS Atlantic (2D) with initial operations in Norway and Singapore. This team will grow over the coming months as crew are employed to work onboard BOS Angler and a further vessels, plus the planned extension of operations into the Americas.

Tor Søreide Sivertsen said that his initial focus would be on streamlining operations to deliver the best result for the growing number of BOS clients.

“My focus is in establishing a team that offers the client a predictable and efficient service while placing a high priority on personnel, equipment and the environment,” he said.

“The BOS employees that have already been recruited have extensive experience in the seismic field and we have invested heavily in the best equipment and systems to secure excellent seismic data for our clients.”

BOS’s first vessel will have its official name unveiling during May. BOS’s 2D vessel, originally known as Oceanic Princess, will be officially inducted into the BOS fleet and will be given the name ‘BOS Atlantic.’
