New Century Exploration Reports Oil & Gas Discovery in Victoria County, Texas

New Century Exploration, Inc. announces that it has made a dual completion on the discovery well on its Una Mas Prospect located in Victoria County, Texas.

Una Mas Prospect - Located in Victoria County, Texas, the Gripp #1 well reached a total depth of 7,200 feet and found multiple productive zones, of which 2 Frio sands were perforated. The Gripp well tested 400 MCF of natural gas per day (at 1,550 psi on an 6/64” choke) from perforations 5,397 to 5,399.5 feet and 500 MCF of gas (at 2,000 psi on a 6/64” choke). The upper zone had only 50 psi of drawdown and the lower had no drawdown in pressure. Both zones are capable of higher rates.
