Aberdeen public relations firm, Mackenzie PR, has announced the appointment of its first non-executive director, following a successful period for the company.
The appointment of local businessman, Neil McArthur was made after Mackenzie PR secured new business worth in the region of £50,000.
Over the past six months the city firm has expanded its portfolio of clients, winning contracts with a range of businesses including Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre (AECC), Aberdein Considine & Company and the Offshore Containers Group.
Since its inception in 2003, Mackenzie PR has experienced year on year growth and is looking forward to future success under the guidance of its newest team member.
Former commercial director with Aberdeen based company MS Industrial Services (MSIS), Neil has more than 40 years’ business experience, having held senior management positions in banking, the marine and environmental sectors.
With a keen interest in business development, he is looking forward to taking up his new role with Mackenzie PR.
He said: “Mackenzie PR is a young and vibrant consultancy, with an excellent track record of generating high profile media coverage.
“My aim is to help build on the success the company has already experienced and work with the team to ensure the continued growth of the business at such an exciting time in its development.”
