Liquefied Natural Gas supplement in The Times newspaper - June 24th
In a world of rising energy demand across the board, more importance is placed on diversifying energy sources for energy security. Due to the time scale of implementing sources of energy like nuclear, and for R & D of renewable, natural gas is the only credible means of bridging the energy gap at this moment. Natural gas burns cleaner than other fossil fuels, such as oil and coal, and produces less carbon dioxide per unit energy released, so there is less opposition and greater utilisation of it as an energy source, lead to a boom in production and utilisation. With special commentary from Malcolm Wicks, Minister of State for Energy.
