Teams from across the North-east are being urged to book their place ahead of the return of a popular golf competition.
After last year’s success, DF Communications, an award-winning mobile phones specialist to small, medium and large businesses, has announced that it will continue to sponsor the long-running Business Golf League for a second consecutive year.
The 2012 trophy was won by Xerox UK pair Neil Bremner and Paul Gallacher - but there is sure to be renewed competition this year with a greater number of teams expected to enter.
Craig Forsyth, sales director at DF Communications, said: “We have had a really good response, particularly from companies that didn’t take part last year. This should make for fierce competition for places in the final.
“Last year saw 34 teams compete and the final at Trump International was a terrific occasion. I’m personally looking forward to seeing a mix of old and new faces and seeing the league continue to develop.”
Matches are expected to begin in April, while money raised from the 2013 tournament will be donated to last year’s winners Xerox UK’s nominated charity.
Teams of between 2-4 named players can enter at a cost of £150 (plus VAT). The closing date for entries is Friday, March 22 (2013).
For an entry form please contact Craig Forsyth or Angus Munro at email@example.com or call DF Communications on 01224 588844.
