Accu-Strap LLC., a small company out of Parma, Idaho, just weeks after releasing its new product line of Unbreakable Tank Gauge Sticks and Accessories, has announced a manufacturing partnership with CPM Precision Machine of Boise, Idaho in order to increase production of the “Accu-Strap TM” Product Line to meet the ever increasing demands for the Chemically Resistant, PVC and PTFE Gauge Sticks.
The “Accu-Strap TM” Product Line, a concept visualized by Cory Gahley was brought to reality with the help of the engineers and machinists at CPM Precision Machine.After which, it was trialed and tested in the gas and oil fields of Wyoming. It was here that Cory, a US Navy veteran with a background in Electrical Engineering as well as Semiconductor Engineering principles embarked on a new career. As an Equipment Operator working for a world renowned gas and oil field service provider, he quickly took note of the extremely short lifespan of the existing wooden gauge sticks or (Strap Sticks).
While companies such as Bagby and BK Guage were producing a high quality wooden “Strap Stick”, they were found wanting when it came to the rigorous, round the clock applications of the gas and oil industry. The strap sticks would quickly lose their protective laminate layer and become chemically laden, unreadable and therefore useless.
After going through 4 of these strap sticks in just 4 weeks, Cory decided there had to be a better way. With durability, accuracy and repeatability in mind, he went to work on the design of a new kind of gauge stick. With the help of some of his fellow operators and engineers, the “Accu-Strap TM” System was born. It has since evolved into a sizeable product line of chemically resistant gauge sticks and accessories to meet the needs of numerous industrial, agricultural and medical applications.
In order to meet the growing demand for the “Accu-Strap TM” product line, Accu-Strap LLC has entered into a manufacturing partnership with CPM Precision Machine Inc. Located in Boise, Idaho, CPM Precision Machine is a provider of CNC Machining, Plastic Fabrication, Steel Fabrication and Welding services for a large and growing customer base in the United States. Through its wide diversity of products and services, CPM was the logical choice to assist in the manufacturing of the Accu-Strap product line.
