Extronics Ltd has appointed Aberdeen Technical Services Ltd as Sales & System Integration Partners for Explosion Proof Wireless Networks.
The ATEX Directive has increased the demand for bespoke solutions in many areas of industry including the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas industries which have applications where standard products on the market are not always suitable in their own right for the user's requirements.
Compliance with these rigorous requirements has often been a barrier to installing and using industry standard wireless network products in hazardous areas.
Extronics custom designed explosion proof enclosures and intrinsically safe protection circuits make it possible for a wide range of wireless networking hardware to be utilised within Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas - including access points, routers, WiFi RFID tags, Exciters and Readers from the industry leading manufacturers.
