Xodus Group, a Scottish-headquartered energy consultancy, has strengthened its service portfolio by appointing Liz Foubister as Alternative Energy Director and Eric Doyle as Alternative Energy Manager.
Foubister and Doyle, will lead the Alternative Energy drive for Xodus and be responsible for rolling out an increased service offering to the growing global renewables industries and the emerging Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) market.
Liz Foubister has extensive experience in the alternative energy sector and has been employed as a leading consultant with Xodus Group for four years.
Recently she has overseen the rapid growth and expansion by the group into the marine renewables sector - primarily through the company's environmental division, Xodus AURORA.
She has a wealth of experience in the marine renewables sector having worked in the sector since the early 1990's when she worked on the EIA for the Osprey wave energy device installed offshore Douneay.
Foubister has also been instrumental in spearheading the Group's drive towards successfully transferring its oil and gas expertise across its integrated divisions to the alternative energy industry.
Eric Doyle has been appointed as Alternative Energy Manager, based in Aberdeen he will support Foubister in the unprecedented growth in the alternative energy business stream offered by Xodus.
With 20 years experience in the oil and gas industry and, holding senior positions in offshore drilling and subsea engineering and construction organisations, Doyle's appointment is designed to support Xodus Group to expand its service offering in the Alternative Energy markets.
Doyle has an extensive HSEQ Management, Business Improvement and Electrical Engineering background, he is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and brings with him a considerable experience in the Business Development world.
Doyle joins Xodus from Acergy where he held the roles of HSEQ Director and latterly, Corporate IMR Marketing Manager.
Based in Aberdeen, Doyle will focus on be responsible for ensuring Xodus Group are best placed to support the growing renewable energy sector in the North East and Europe.
