• Bottom-hole logging runs complete; Operator preparing to rig up test unit

TG World Energy Corp. announces that the Operator of the Ténéré Block (Niger), CNPC International Ténéré (“CNPCIT”), a unit of the China National Petroleum Corporation, has advised the Company that all logs of the bottom section of the Saha–1 Exploration Well have now been run and the Operator has set and cemented the 177.8 mm liner to total depth (“TD”) at 3,500 metres. According to CNPCIT, it plans to complete bottom-hole operations and rig up for testing, which is anticipated to begin within the next few days.

The Operator has advised that, on evaluation of the logs, it identified four intervals that will be tested during the program, which is expected to take approximately three to four weeks. This is a longer testing period than previously anticipated and announced.

The Operator has confirmed to TG World that delays were incurred in running logs between approximately 2,500 metres and TD at 3,500 metres, resulting in a longer-than anticipated period to commence testing.

The Company expects to make a further announcement when all testing results are made available to it.
