Serica Energy (SQZ) has completed and tested all three production wells in the Kambuna field, offshore North Sumatra, Indonesia and achieved a combined stabilised gas rate of 114 mmscfd, considerably higher than initial expectations.

Irvine Energy (IVE) said the Rock 1-5 well in Kansas tested oil with sales expected in July 2008. A second well, Rock 1-30, failed to find hydrocarbons and a third, Rock 1-32, is drilling ahead.

Gulfsands Petroleum (GPX) has discovered natural gas in multiple pay zones in the EI38 #17 well, located in the Eugene Island protraction area within the Gulf of Mexico. This follows the successful gas discovery from the EI57#16 well announced in May.

Antrim Energy (AEY) has drilled and cased eight Springhill wells in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina resulting in two producing oil wells, three shut-in gas wells and three wells waiting on completion. A 137 square kilometre seismic programme on Tierra del Fuego has also commenced.

Anthony Potter has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of Antrim Energy.

Nighthawk Energy (HAWK) provided an update on the Buchanan and Worden waterflood projects, located in Vernon and Bates Counties, Missouri, USA. To date 16 production wells have been drilled. All of the wells drilled encountered hydrocarbons and are awaiting completion. Oil in place ranges from 125,000 to 900,000 barrels per well with an average of 350,000 and Nighthawk expects the start of oil production during Q3 2008.

Leni Gas and Oil (LGO) has commenced a water injection pilot programme at the Ayoluengo oil field in Spain.

Global Energy Development (GED) has spud the Tilodiran 3 development well within the Colombian Rio Verde contract.

Ithaca Energy (IAE) has commenced drilling the Athena 'D' development well in the core area of the field in UKCS block 14/18b.

Petro Matad (MATD) has appointed BGP Inc. to undertake a 130km² 3D seismic acquisition programme on petroleum Block XX, in Eastern Mongolia.

Europa Oil and Gas (EOG) have received planning permission for the drilling of the West Firsby-9 well by Lincolnshire County Council.

Maple Energy (MPLE) expects to drill a total of 22 development wells in the Maquia and Agua Caliente oil fields in Peru in 2008 and 2009. Drilling operations are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2008. Maple also expects to drill the Santa Rosa 1X exploration well in late 2008.

Coastal Energy Company (CEO) has received government approval of the Production Area Application for development of its Songkhla field in the Gulf of Thailand. The Songkhla field is scheduled to commence production in Q4, 2008.

Rift Oil (RIFT) has signed a Heads of Agreement with FLEX LNG where the parties will work together to commercialise potential gas reserves from Rift's acreage onshore PNG should sufficient reserves be established.

Meridian Petroleum (MRP) is to acquire interests in the East Lake Verret Field in South Louisiana, USA for a cash consideration of $9.84 million.

And finally, TXO plc (TXO) produced 41,935 barrels of oil in the year to 31 March 2008 compared to 56,327 barrels in the previous year. Finance Director, Andrew Glendinning purchased 100,000 shares following the announcement.
