Regal Petroleum's Romania Well Plugged and Abandoned

Regal Petroleum announces that it has completed the drilling of its second planned exploration well, RBN-3, in the Barlad Concession in Romania, where the Company holds a 100% working interest.

The RBN-3 well was drilled to a total depth of 1116 metres but after logging, it was considered that no commercial hydrocarbons were present and accordingly the well is now being plugged and abandoned. The well was intended to evaluate primary targets in the Sarmatian formation and a secondary target in the Eocene formation.
