Petrobras informs the oil and gas production achieved in the month of November 2011. Petrobras’s average oil and natural gas output, in Brazil and abroad, was 2,677,056 barrels of oil equivalent per day. This figure represents an increase of 2.69% against the volume extracted in October 2011 and 2.16% when compared with November 2010.
Considering only fields in Brazil, average oil and natural gas output reached 2,423,118 boed, up 2.7% against October 2011 and 1.86% against November 2010. The exclusive production of oil from domestic fields reached 2,060,695 barrels per day, up 2.96% against October and 1.46% against November 2010. The November output increase was driven primarily by the return to production of the platforms that were in scheduled shutdowns in Campos Basin and the going on stream of new wells in platforms P-57, P-56, FPSO-Angra dos Reis and the start of LDT at Carioca Nordeste in mid October.
