Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco), today submitted applications for licenses in the UK 25th round.
"This is a milestone for Noreco, as it is the first time we have participated in a licensing round in the UK. We are building a leading independent oil and gas company in the North Sea region, and the applications submitted today is a part of this process," says Scott Kerr, CEO of Noreco.
Noreco is already present on the UK continental shelf through its 20% share in the Huntington discovery. License awards in the 25th licensing round is expected later in the year or early 2009.
