Norse Energy do Brasil S.A., a 100% owned subsidiary of Norse Energy Corp ASA, announces that Mr. Kjetil Solbrække has accepted the position as CEO of Norse Energy do Brasil. Kjetil Solbrække comes from StatoilHydro, where he held the position as Senior Vice President for the International South Atlantic. He has previously been President and Country Manager for Norsk Hydro in Brazil, CFO for Norsk Hydro Oil and Energy, and worked with the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
Kjetil Solbrække will be working out of our Brazilian headquarter in Rio de Janeiro and report to the Board of Directors of Norse Energy do Brasil, whose Chairman is Mr. Øivind Risberg, the CEO of Norse Energy Corp ASA.
