KADME AS, the Norwegian-based leading provider of information management software and services to the oil and gas industry, announces that KADME's Whereoil products will be sold by Orogenic Resources Sdn Bhd directly to customers in Southeast Asia. KADME and Orogenic Resources Sdn Bhd signed the reseller agreement on 14 April.
Whereoil Enterprise is the only search engine designed for the oil and gas industry that integrates structured and unstructured data, providing simple access to information from a multitude of sources.
Orogenic Resources is a company within the Orogenic Group of Companies. They have several business activities within the E&P industry, and Information Management Services is one of their key business activities. Orogenic has gained exclusivity for selling Whereoil in Malaysia and two other Southeast Asian countries, and will cover the rest of the region on a non-exclusive basis.
'We are aiming to capitalize on Orogenic's intimate knowledge of the local markets in Asia,' said Kjell-Arne Bjerkhaug, Managing Director at KADME. 'WIth our mutual expertise in data management in the E&P industry, this partnership is opening up important new markets for selling Whereoil'.
According to Group Executive Chairman of the Orogenic Group of Companies, Ahmad Ziyad Elias, this agreement is important for their customer base, who rely on Orogenic's products and innovations. Mr. Ziyad explained that, 'We view this agreement as a significant benefit to both KADME and Orogenic customers. This stimulates new solutions, as providing Whereoil allows us to offer an excellent solution to our customers' data management needs.'
