Eni CEO Paolo Scaroni met today in Astana, Kazakhstan, with Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov and with Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbaev.
The meeting was positive and constructive and formed part of the current visit to the country being made by Italy’s Prime Minister Romano Prodi and a delegation from Eni.
The meeting covered areas such as Eni’s presence in Kazakhstan’s E&P sector as a whole and latest developments regarding the Kashagan field in particular, which Eni operates on behalf of the Agip KCO consortium.
