This move signals an exciting step change in Axis's history resulting in the recent opening of a second Aberdeen site at the Arnhall Business Park, Westhill. A new team of skilled professionals operate from this base bringing the Axis headcount to over 125 people, an increase of 25 over the past 12 months. Mr. Jim Anderson, Axis Managing Director, said 'This is a game changing time for the company and will enable Axis to provide fully integrated solutions across operating companies' asset lifecycle including geoscience, engineering and operational support. We are delighted to be providing this essential service to our current and future clients'.
Axis has enjoyed significant growth with revenues up from £14 million in 2010 to in excess of £17 million in 2011. The demand for independent consultancy services remains high and 2012 is expected to see a significant recruitment intake as the company continues to grow. Axis plans to open further office sites in the UK and overseas this year as part of its growth strategy.
Axis is an IIP (Investors in People) Scotland accredited company and has recently been elevated to IIP Bronze status which puts it in the top 24% of accredited IIP companies in Scotland. Mr. Anderson made comment 'To receive the Bronze Standard demonstrates the company's commitment to its people and IIP has been very positive for the business as a whole'

Axis is delighted to have been recently shortlisted as finalists in two categories of the prestigious SPE Offshore Achievement Awards. Axis in one of three finalists in the 'Great Large Company Performance' category whilst their Operations Manager Paul Handsley has been selected in the 'Young Professional' category.
