Description
Seagreen Wind Energy Limited is a 50/50 joint venture partnership between SSE (Scottish and Southern Energy plc) and Fluor Limited, the UK operating arm of Fluor Corporation.
The company combines the extensive renewables development, asset management and operations experience of one of the UK’s leading energy companies, with the offshore project delivery expertise of one of the world’s largest publicly owned enegineering, procurement, construction and maintenance services companies.
This partnership builds on an existing relationship. SSE and Fluor jointly developed the first of the Round 2 projects under construction: the 500MW Greater Gabbard Offshore wind farm located off the coast of Suffolk. Greater Gabbard is currently under construction and is on schedule for completion in 2012.
