PICO Petroleum Services

In 1978, PICO Petroleum Services (PPS) became the first private Egyptian enterprise to offer oilfield services for the local oil and gas market. In 1991, PICO Oil was established as the first Egyptian company to own and operate oil fields. A decade later, PICO launched its newest unit, under the name of PICO Research and Analysis (R&A). To accommodate for this exponential growth, PICO Energy was established in 2002 as a holding company for the existing subsidiaries and to explore new frontiers in the promising area of alternative energy. Over a period of only 3 decades, PICO Energy became Egypt's national market leader in Oil Production, integrated oil field services, and professional research based marketing services.

Today, through a network of JV's and marketing representations, PPS provides a diverse mix of services including rental tools and jars, workshop facilities that cover the whole country, API licensed machine shop, liner hanger supply and service, solid control, pressure control, valve repair, electrical submersible and surface pumps, total crane management, pipeline supply and maintenance in addition to automation and condition-based monitoring.
