Production in 2007 averaged 29,099 boepd, compared to 24,706 boepd in 2006.
Reserves
Continental Resources announced proved reserves of 134.6 million barrels of crude oil equivalent as of December 31, 2007, a 14 percent increase over the prior year-end. Future net cash flows from the proved reserves, before income taxes, were $6.9 billion with a present value (discounted at 10 percent) of $3.5 billion.
Crude oil reserves were 104.1 million barrels of crude oil (77 percent of the total equivalent proved reserves as of December 31, 2007) and natural gas reserves were 182.8 Bcf. Proved developed reserves represented 75 percent of the total.
As of December 31, 2006, estimated proved reserves were 118.3 MMBoe, with estimated proved developed reserves of 87.1 MMBoe, or 74% of total estimated proved reserves. Crude oil comprised 83% of the company's total estimated proved reserves. At December 31, 2006, Continental Resources had 1,772 scheduled drilling locations on the 1,775,000 gross (1,071,000 net) acres that they hold.
