WestSide Corporation Appoints New Director

WestSide Corporation Ltd announces the appointment of Mr Nathan Mitchell as a non-executive Director of the Company.

Nathan has extensive experience in the drilling and resource exploration industry and is currently the CEO of Mitchell Energy Group. Nathan was the CEO of Mitchell Drilling Corporation prior to the sale of its Australian operations in August this year.

Through these businesses, Nathan has been heavily involved in the growth of the coal seam gas industry in Australia and overseas since its inception in the 1990’s.

WestSide Chairman and acting-CEO Mr Angus Karoll welcomed Nathan’s appointment and stated his experience will be invaluable as WestSide moves toward reserve certification and plans the expansion of its current program.

“As one of Australia’s most experienced coal seam gas drillers, Nathan will bring a lifetime of drilling knowledge to WestSide,” Mr Karoll said.

“Nathan’s track record at managing a company through significant growth will be additionally valuable as WestSide ramps up its operations in 2009.”
