Total E&P Farm-in Opportunity: Exploration Permits WA-402P and 403P, Bonaparte Basin

Total is providing the opportunity to acquire up to 40% equity in Exploration Permits WA-402P and 403P, located in the Bonaparte Basin off the north-west coast of Australia. The two permits lie in a proven hydrocarbon province adjacent to significant gas and condensate discoveries including the nearby Bayu-Undan field and comprise a number of significant gas/condensate prospects with multi-Tcf potential. Approximately 3000 km2 of new 3D seismic data has been acquired across the permits and two exploration wells are planned to be drilled in 2010 to test the most prospective exploration targets.
