Stratic Energy Re-schedules Syrian Drilling

Stratic Energy Corporation announces that the drilling company contracted to drill the Al Tayr - 101 well on Block 17 in Syria has advised that it is not able to meet the timetable set out in the drilling contract. As a result, the contract has been terminated and alternate drilling rig arrangements later in 2009 are being sought. Stratic has a 35.00% and operated interest in Block 17.
