Sirte Oil Company Announces New Discovery in Libya

NOC Libya announces that Sirte Oil Company, a wholly owned subsidiary, has made a new oil discovery in the well A1-NC216A, a new wildcat well in Ghadames Basin. The well is located approximately 310 km south west of Tripoli.

This well represents the first discovery in block NC216A and is also the first well to be drilled by the company in the block.
