Saipem Awarded a New €200 million Onshore Contract in Algeria

Saipem has been awarded a new onshore contract in Algeria worth approximately 200 million euro.

The Algerian oil company Sonatrach has awarded Saipem the contract for the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) of a marine export terminal for the future urea/ammonia plant to be built near the Algerian city of Arzew, about 400 kilometres west of Algiers.

The overall work on the project will be completed within 23 months.
