Maurel & Prom Provides Congo (Brazzaville) Drilling Update

Maurel & Prom has made the following announcement in relation to results of a recent development well on the M’Boundi field in Congo (Brazzaville), where it acts as operator.

“Well MBD 706, situated in the centre of the M’Boundi field, has been tested at 3,500 bopd on a 40/64 inch choke. This result demonstrates the potential of a certain number of infill wells which will form part of the final field development plan as from 2007”

Burren Energy has a 31.5% interest in the M’Boundi field.
